Dolomites Mountain Bike

Mountain Biking in the Dolomites Ladin Valleys

Explore challenging mountain biking trails from “base camp” hotels in both Alta Badia and Cortina d'Ampezzo! Ride through these Ladin Valleys, and experience the different Italian, Austrian, and Ladin cultures and traditions, while taking in the vast beauty of the Dolomites.

Trip Overview

The Dolomites offer a tremendous opportunity for mountain bikers: incredible scenery, challenging terrain, and fascinating culture. Long known as a paradise for rock climbers and skiers, cyclists can also take advantage of the charming hotels in hidden pretty valleys.
On this seven day mountain biking itinerary, you’ll use these comfortable “base camps” from which you’ll venture out each day for invigorating mountain bike rides along rugged trails. Wild alpine meadows, deciduous and evergreen woods, high altitude lunar-like terrain, soaring peaks, dramatic walls and towering heights alternate with charming villages. You’ll explore the refined Venetian town of Cortina d’Ampezzo, which has preserved the atmosphere that the first English tourists found almost two centuries ago, and the South Tyrolean town of Corvara at the foot of the impressive rock-walls of the Sella Massif. All along the way you’ll enjoy hearty meals that are representative of the incredible diversity of this region and will provide fuel for your next ascent!

Please note that all of our Biking Itineraries can be completed with either a mountain bike or an e-bike. The choice is yours!
