The Elegant Chateau & Polo Club is a quaint 19th century mansion located between San Candido and Dobbiaco (Toblach), in the South Tirol region of Northern Italy, close to the Austrian border. The village does not only offer a healthy climate and many sports options in summer and winter. There is also an interesting cultural choice. For example, the Gustav Mahelr music weeks take place here since 1981. They are an international approved music festival in Mahler's summer-landscape, the Dolomites.
Built in the year 1850 on the ruins of an ancient castle, this enchanting property sits in a private 5-hectare estate flanking the verdant woods of Alta Pusteria and offers magnificent views of the famous Dolomites mountain range.
The Schettino D'Acquarone family welcomes you to their stunning chateau whose location and laidback pace makes it a wonderful base for families, sporty group of friends, small parties and corporate events wanting to entertain in stunning alpine surroundings.
The chalet features elegantly furnished 3 stately Suites spreaded over two floors, all of them boast spacious beds and separate living rooms. Room facilities include en-suite bathrooms, state-of-the-art facilities, LCD TV screens and Wi-Fi.
Valcastello Chateau & Polo Club accommodates a maximum of 8 guests in three suites: Pink Suite 100 sq.m (1.076 sq.ft), Red Suite - 60 sq.m (645 sq.ft) and Blue Suite - 60 sq.m (645 sq.ft).
The property also boasts a gym and sauna, fitness room and the only permanent Snow Polo Club in the Italian Alps.
