Stargazing at an Observatory & Dinner Above Cortina

Have you ever seen the stars through a giant telescope? Embrace science on a fascinating evening at an astronomical observatory high above Cortina d’Ampezzo, where you can view the heavens through two large telescopes. Led by a local English-speaking astronomer, you’ll ride a cable-car up to the observatory and learn to recognize stars, planets, and galaxies, and to appreciate the magnificent starry sky. Then enjoy a special candlelight dinner on the mountain, where you can try specialties from the Ampezzo Valley.

Beer & Cheese Tasting near Brunico/Bruneck

You’ve heard of wine and cheese pairings, but what about beer and cheese? Venture into a natural stone bunker, a World War II relic, and enjoy a delicious tasting of Alpine cheeses produced in Italy, locally in the South Tyrol, and in neighboring countries. The owner, a fromelier (cheese master) and cicerone (beer sommelier), will guide you through historic tunnels, share how cheeses are aged here, and share a cheese tasting in this unique ambiance, accompanied by incredible craft beers.

Canteen Visit, Lunch, and Wine Tasting in Caldaro

Visit one of the oldest wineries in Caldaro/Kaltern in the Alto Adige / South Tyrol wine region, today a landmark for wines produced in the world-famous Kalterersee appellation. Tour through the vineyards and cellar and learn about wine production. Then enjoy a wine tasting and a special lunch set in a beautiful vineyard overlooking the charming lake. En route, travel the beautiful landscape of the Wine Road – Strada del Vino / Weinstrasse – surrounded by apple orchards, vineyards, and gentle hills.

Canyoning Near Lake Garda

Experience the adrenaline rush of canyoning, as you explore narrow passageways and caves, sliding through rocks carved by centuries of hydraulics! There are several river valleys nestled in the mountains surrounding Lake Garda: deep gorges dug into rock by flowing water, which has created incredible canyons to explore. Descend a river gorge on foot, enjoying long breathtaking slides, jumps into crystal clear pools, and abseiling (rappelling) down beautiful waterfalls – great fun for beginners, experienced canyoneers, and the entire family!

Picnic Lunch at a Private ‘Baita’ in the Mountains

A private mountain chalet awaits you, at 2,000 meters (6,562'), set in the meadows high above San Cassiano on the Pralongià Plateau, with sweeping vistas in every direction. Owned and operated by one of the best hotels in San Cassiano, this is a delightful escape for a private picnic lunch on the mountain. If you are out hiking in morning you can reach the location on foot, or you can take a cable car directly from the village below. A delicious lunch will be set up especially for you, surrounded by the beauty of the Dolomites. A truly idyllic experience!

Neustift Abbey Tour and Wine Tasting in Bressanone

Visit the Abbazia di Novacella (Novacella Abbey). Founded more than 875 years ago, a visit to the Augustinian monastery is a must for art and wine lovers. It features a beautiful church, valuable library collection, art gallery, and fresco-lined cloister. Surrounded by vineyards, the monastery is famous for its white wines. Enjoy a guided tour of the Abbey, Museum, Library, and Church, followed by a delicious wine tasting.

Swing on the “Skyscraper” High Above Brunico

The giant swing set at the top of Plan de Corones / Kronplatz (2,275m /7,464') is an absolute must for adrenaline junkies! Find out what it's like to be hoisted up to a height of 15 meters (49') by a cable winch and hurtled through the air attached only to a couple of steel ropes. (Don’t worry – tight harness straps and thick steel cables guarantee safety!) Once you're up there, all you have to do is unclick the fastener and off you go: dashing out into the open sky! Not for the faint-hearted!

Zip Lining in San Vigilio Di Marebbe

Take a wild ride on the longest zipline in mainland Europe! Ten sections of cable descend from 1,600 to 400 meters (5,249' - 1,312') in about 1.5 hours, reaching a maximum speed of 80 kph (50 mph). At the highest point, you will be dangling your feet 100 meters (328') above the ground! All the while, enjoy being immersed in the South Tyrolean Dolomites with 360-degree panoramic views. This zipline is an experience that you will remember forever!
