The Dolomites Ski Safari Experience

Arrive in Val Badia at your leisure (private transfer available upon request) and check into your hotel. Alta Badia, the ski area of Val Badia, sits between 1,400 and 2,700 meters (4,593–8,858’), ensuring excellent snow conditions all winter long. Wide, perfectly groomed slopes (130 km / 81 miles), modern lifts, and breathtaking views of the Dolomites make for an unforgettable skiing experience. After breakfast meet your local English speaking UIAGM/IFMGA ski guide and start to explore the Alta Badia ski resort. Corvara, Colfosco, La Villa, San Cassiano, Badia, and La Val are renowned villages in Alta Badia, famous for being the cradle of Dolomites winter tourism. You will have the opportunity to venture onto the Gran Risa, the world-famous World Cup slope, or explore the more relaxed slopes of Piz La Villa, Gardenaccia, and Santa Croce. Dinner at a pizzeria is included.
 

Today is a long day on the slopes, so we recommend setting out early in the morning. Start by skiing to the town of Arabba, where you’ll take the Porta Vescovo cable car. From here, continue on the slopes and lifts to Malga Ciapela. At Malga Ciapela, you’ll board the first of three cable cars leading up to the Marmolada Glacier. Known as the “Queen of the Dolomites,” Marmolada (3,350m / 10,990') is the highest peak and the only glacier in these mountains.
Once at the top, you’ll be treated to panoramic 360-degree views, including Catinaccio, Sassolungo, Sella, and Gran Vernel. The highest point of the ski area is Punta Rocca Station (3,265m / 10,712'), the starting point of one of the most beautiful ski runs in the Alps.
This long, wide, and consistent piste is La Bellunese, the longest in the Dolomites, stretching 12 kilometres (7.15 miles) with a vertical descent of 1,823 meters (5,981'). The run’s few corners and gradual gradients let you settle into a rhythm as you carve turns all the way down the mountain.
 

Today, you’ll cross the Fedaia Pass and make your way to the Buffaure ski area, heading into Val di Fassa—one of the most renowned ski destinations in the Dolomites. This vast ski area boasts seven interconnected zones, 210 kilometres (130 miles) of impeccably maintained slopes, and 81 modern lifts. Beyond on- and off-piste skiing, you’ll find five scenic ski tours and eight snow parks to explore.
End your day at a cozy rifugio, tucked away in the wilderness.

Today, you’ll explore the slopes of the Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi Ski Resort (Gröden / Seiser Alm in German). From December to April, this stunning region welcomes winter sports enthusiasts with its countless runs and breathtaking descents. Efficient, modern lift systems ensure a seamless skiing experience in Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi, a destination renowned for its world-class athletes. With 175 kilometres (108.7 miles) of spectacular slopes and 79 state-of-the-art lifts, this ski paradise stretches from the charming villages of Val Gardena to the towering Dolomite peaks of Sassolungo, Sciliar, Odle, Cir, and Sella, offering direct access to the legendary Sellaronda. Alpe di Siusi, the highest alpine plateau in Europe, features wide, gentle slopes that make it a haven for beginners and families. With panoramic views of the Dolomites and pristine snow-covered landscapes, it’s an unforgettable winter wonderland.

After breakfast, hit the slopes of the Seceda and Monte Pana ski areas—the "sunny side" of Val Gardena—where breathtaking views of the Sella Massif await. From here, make your way to Passo Sella and Val di Fassa.
Ski down from Passo Sella, enjoying the runs of the Canazei resort, or venture further into the valley to explore additional resorts. For those looking for an extended adventure, there’s also the option to take the longer clockwise route around the Sellaronda.
