Best of the Dolomites: Hiking & Gourmet

We had a very positive experience with our Dolomite Mountains adventure.

Michele was an excellent guide in all respects. The hikes each day were varied and he took us to incredible locations. We felt 100% safe in his hands and had a great time talking with him. He is extremely knowledge and a lot of fun to interact with.

We loved the La Majun Hotel--very comfortable, with good food and wine, and friendly service. They even went out of their way to prepare us a breakfast when we had to leave the hotel for Venice at 7 am.  The staff at the Hotel Ambra were also friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were nice, but we were unhappy with our room.  It did not have enough space for us to unpack, and it was very dark at night, because the lights in the room were all very dim.

Finally, we found the dinners were all very good, but we especially enjoyed the La Majun restaurant and Baita Fraina.
