Filippo Turrin
Class 1971, Filippo Turrin was born and bred in Padua, in Northern Italy. HIs family originates from Feltre, a little town near Belluno, surrounded by Dolomite peaks called ‘Vette Feltrine. Although Filippo completed his Political Science studies, he worked most of his earlier life as a lifeguard and swimming teacher. In his late 20’s Filippo started climbing and fell in love with it at first sight. Over the years climbing became a way of life for Filippo, so much than he felt the need to turn his passion into a profession. In 2013 Filippo qualified as Mountain Guide and changed his life over. Sharing passion, knowledge and experiences with his clients fills his life with precious moments and satisfaction, regardless of the season or the sport practiced.
During the course of the last decade, Filippo has traveled extensively on climbing trips in Europe, in the Yosemite National Park and currently planning a skiing trip to Japan and Norway, but his favorite destination are, and will always be the Dolomites. There is nothing Filippo doesn’t like about the Dolomites!
